How I Feel About My Lack of Feeling

Brazen. Do you feel you ought to be angry?
Seared beyond disturbance--are you confused?
" 'Trials' are for hypocrites. Life longs to be explained
In terms more universal and less problematic--"
Because--I don't know about you--but
Regardless of possibility, I want to be upset
By pain.
When my own pain subsides,
My nerves take a break.

In the intellectual corners of experience
I rage against injustice -- but the heat
Is trapped there. My fire-pit
Is cold with other emotions
More suited to personal comfort.
"It's unfair! It's unfair!"
Dies down and settles into smug
Self-content in perceiving the convenient Wrong of the world;
It means we're not to blame.

You men are phenomenal writers and seem to have such passion for the Creator. I command you on your writing styles and ability to pour out your hearts. But I do questions many things and would love to hear all of your thoughts pertaining to the topic of truth:

How do you know that you hold the truth? There is Wicca, Atheism, Pluralism and dozens of other beliefs. How do you know what solid truth is when a hundred different people are pulling in a hundred different directions? Everyone believes they hold the truth, but how is that relative? How is that truth? How is that concrete? How is that absolute? My faith is waning and I am beginning to think that perhaps there is no firm foundation, no set religion that is right. How do you justify your faith? And how do you stand up and say what faith is, what grace is, what the purpose of life is when so many people have such differing views?

Sigh……to understand without doubt…..
